Roadmap

Last updated 9 September 2026

What is built, what is being worked on, and what is only being thought about. No dates, because a date from one person building one app is a guess dressed up as a promise.

Shipped

  • 38 switch packs, every one named and verified
  • Self-serve licence moves: Deactivate This Mac, in Settings
  • Mouse click sounds
  • Menu bar app, no dock icon needed
  • Universal binary, Apple silicon and Intel
  • Samples trimmed to first sound, so no lag in front of a keypress
  • Key-up sounds, per-pack volume, launch at login
  • Browser playground: hear every switch before buying

Working on

  • A notarized build, so first launch stops needing Privacy & Security
  • Bring your own sounds: a folder of WAVs plus a small manifest
  • In-app updates, instead of downloading a new copy

Considering

  • More switch packs, only where the source can be named
  • Full per-key fidelity for imported packs
  • Modifier and space bar treated separately from letters

Deliberately not planned

Some things are absent on purpose, and saying so is more useful than leaving them ambiguous:

Asking for something

Requests get read and they do change this list. Use share feedback or email support, and say what you would use it for; that part is what makes a request land.

This page describes intent, not commitments. Anything in "working on" or "considering" may change or be dropped, and nothing here is part of what you buy.
